Hiking

The  Catskill Park,  a  province  of  the  larger  Appalachian  Mountains,  is  located  along  the Hudson Valley  in  South  Eastern  New  York.  The  Catskill  Mountains  are  well known  in  American  Culture  through  books, film  and  art.  Most  notably are Washington Irving’s  tale  of  Rip  Van  Winkle,  and  the  paintings  of  Thomas  Cole  and  Frederick Church;  the Hudson  River  School  of  Art. With over  300  miles of  trails  and  700k  acres  in  the Catskill  Park  there  is  something  for  everyone.  We can  accommodate all  skill  levels  of  hiking  From  beginners  just  looking  to  have  a  relaxing  nature walk  and  see some  popular  sites,  to  more  experienced  adventurers looking  to  push themselves, and everyone in  between. We  can  customize just  about  any  hike to  suit  your  needs and  abilities.

Contact  us  for  further information  and  to  book  an adventure.  If  you  need some  inspiration,  here’s a  link  to  a  list  and  descriptions of some trails in  the Catskills  and  surrounding  area.  https://www.catskillhiker.net/Trails/trails_index.shtml catskill mountains
